The Nebraska News Link is a service of the Nebraska Press Association, the professional trade association serving Nebraska's general circulation daily and weekly newspapers. The Nebraska Press Association was founded in 1873.
The Nebraska News Link is an Internet web portal designed to give you easy access to digital images of newspaper pages. This means you can view copies of newspaper pages at home, at the office or while on vacation.
Approximately 100 Nebraska newspapers participate in the program. The home page web address is www.nebraskanewslink.com.
You have two options for accessing stories, photos and advertisements that appear in the participating Nebraska newspapers:
Option 1: You can subscribe to an online edition of a newspaper. This involves contacting the newspaper direct to set up your digital subscription. For more information, go to the home page and click on the Subscribe to a Newspaper link or click here.
Option 2: If you decide not to subscribe to a newspaper, you can still search for and purchase articles that have appeared in Nebraska newspapers dating back to June 2008. For more information, go to the home page and click on the Search Back Issues/Purchase Articles link or click here. Searches are done by typing in keywords, such as a person's name, subject matter, address, etc. Searching for items of interest on the Nebraska News Link is free of charge. You will have the option of purchasing digital copies of newspaper pages, in which the keywords appeared, for a minimal fee online using a PayPal account or a credit card.
Whether you Subscribe to a Newspaper or Search Back Issues/Purchase Articles, you will have access to scanned newspaper pages as they were published in the print version of the newspaper.
