Step 1: Go to home page at www.nebraskanewslink.com and click on Guest Login. This will connect you directly to the search page, or click here.

Step 2: On the search page, there is a keyword search function. Where it says "Keyword," type in the word or words you would like to search. You can search by a person's name, a subject, or any word or combination of words. You can do as many searches as you like FREE of charge.

Step 3: When you conduct a search, a list of results will appear on your computer screen. These results will include your keywords along with some additional information that will reveal the context in which your keywords appeared in each newspaper. The results page will also give you the name of the newspaper, the date the story appeared and a page number where the keywords appeared. If there are no results for your search, the program will notify you accordingly. The searchable archives are available from June 2008 to the present.

Step 4: If you decide to purchase an article, you simply click on the box to the left of the description. This places the article in your shopping cart.

Step 5: When you have made all your selections, click on "Pay Online" to complete your purchase. You can pay for your purchase with a credit card or with a PayPal account. The site will prompt you how to set up a PayPal account or pay with a credit card.

• From your home or office computer, search the content of over 100 Nebraska newspapers. A list of participating newspapers is provided below.
• All searches are done by keyword. For example, you can type in your mother's name and it will locate stories from all the newspapers in which your mother's name appeared. Conduct an unlimited number of searches FREE of charge!
• You can purchase stories as they appeared on the printed page for only $5 per page. When you make a purchase, you will receive a PDF of the entire newspaper page as it appeared in the newspaper. Original photo prints or actual copies of the entire printed paper can be purchased directly from the newspaper.
• Paying for your purchases is easy. You can use PayPal to purchase stories or pay by credit card. To set up a PayPal account now, Click Here. PayPal is a safe and easy way to pay for purchases online. You can pay using credit cards, bank accounts, or PayPal account balances, without sharing your financial information with retailers. And there's no fee to you, the customer, for using PayPal for your online purchases.
• Once your online purchase is complete, your printable documents will automatically be sent to your email address. At this point, you can either print out the page or save the PDF file on your computer.
